On the Water

Boat Trips to Inchcolm Abbey

Firth of Forth

Take a boat trip to explore the magnificent Inchcolm Island before it closes for the winter. The island is home to the best-preserved group of monastic buildings in Scotland and coastal defences from the two World Wars. It’s a great place for wildlife spotting. Look out for seals, cormorants, and, if you’re lucky, dolphins.

Tickets for the passenger ferry to the island can be purchased in advance from Forth Boat Tours or Maid of the Forth. Ferries depart daily from Hawes Pier in South Queensferry.

Efoil Taster Sessions

Burntisland

Experience the feeling of flying on water with an Efoil taster session. You’ll ride a sleek board with a hydrofoil wing underneath. As you gain speed, the board lifts above the surface, giving you the sensation of gliding through the air. It’s an exhilarating way to see the spectacular Fife coastline.

For taster sessions, groups of 4 will take turns on the most advanced eFoil on the market starting from Burntisland Slip Way. Sessions are available every day. Book your experience with eFoil Scotland.

Waterskiing & Wakeboarding Tasters

Townhill Country Park, Dunfermline

Get out on the water and experience the thrill of waterskiing & wakeboarding with the help of friendly coaches who’ll move at your pace. You’ll start with a land lesson before taking to the water - friends can watch from the boat. All equipment is included.

Sessions are available 10-2pm on 28th September and 2nd and 5th October and cost £45 per person for a 45 min experience. Book your tickets by emailing [email protected]
